The Big Island of Hawai'i

Hawai'i has completely charmed me since 1979 when I first flew into Kona. The island surprised me with its miles of uninhabited coastline, world famous resorts and varied landscapes. You could live on the Island for years and still have new places to explore. My personal favorites have been discovering a new beach where we're the only ones on the sand; spotting a rare tropical flower or enjoying the hike to our awe inspiring volcano! From high mountain tropical rainforests to sandy ocean beach front, the beauty of Hawai'i waits for you.







A great place to live.....

To raise a family, vacation or just go hang out at the beach. You can start the morning with fresh fruit and a cup of Kona coffee at the local Farmer’s Markets. Later you could drive up and enjoy the sight of horses racing across the pastures on the Saddle Road. The colorful beauty of the reef fish swirling through the blue awaits you on an early morning swim. There's the romantic vistas from Laupahoehoe on a foggy morning. The breath stopping moment when a flash of red from the i'wii bird takes off from the red bloomed ohia tree. The Aloha spirit isn't just an ad campaign, it truly exists in the smiles of the people of Hawai'i..

The choices and prices are so varied that people are often intimidated by the options. The beauty of the Kohala Coast with it miles of sand beaches and views of Maui are attracting many new residents. The village of Kailua-Kona offers shopping amenities, a nearby airport and easy access to the ocean.. South Kona and Ka'u offer rural ambience, hidden beaches and amazingly affordable prices.
